Finally found my way back to DC and, of course, stopped by Eastern Market to inspect the damage. First, the market is as crowded as ever and most of the inside vendors received allocated prime spots along the outside. As for the building itself, as you can see from the photo above, the inside was gutted and the roof is history but it’s very salvageable and with the good work of the city, the building will be back better than ever.
