A pretty impressive lightning storm passed over Washington last night. I set out with my Rebel XT and tripod to try and photograph lightning for the first time. Once I figured out the right exposure (best to use bulb) and f-stop (8), I was able to capture over 200 images. This is one of my early favorites.
