As I mentioned in my previous photo, I experimented with various star trail methods. This photo, rather than being one very long exposure, is made up of eight shorter exposures (7 minutes each — not that short) then assembled to create this 3,497 second (58 minutes and 17 seconds) photo.
If you look closely, you will see several dots crossing the photo — those are airplanes that flew through the exposures.
