Marlins Park in Black and White

In an era where every new ballpark is built in a retro style, the Miami Marlins went in the opposite direction and chose to build a modern 21st Century retractable dome. Located on the site of the historic Orange Bowl in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood, Marlins Park is as a work of art. Its designer describes it as:

an abstraction of water merging with land, symbolic of the city’s coastal landscape. It is a bold vision portrayed through architecture as a modern, kinetic sculpture of faceted metal and glass.

It is unlike any other ballpark and reflects the modernism of Miami.
